Note 1.
Knobs
designed for a shaft with a slight flat means that the shaft should be
mostly round, but with a small flat area, but not 1/2 of the shaft
flat. Generally the flat on the shaft can be made with a file or belt
sander, or I have had customers use a Dremel to round-out the hole in
the knob. Click here

Note 2. Shaft Length From Skirt refers to the minimum length of shaft required to engage the set screw measured from the skirt or bottom of the knob. Be warned that not all of these knobs will work with the pots that I sell due to the relatively short shafts on the pots.
